County seeks volunteers to serve on Clean Water Commission

Vancouver, WA – May 8, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The county manger is calling for applications, nominations and recommendations for volunteers to serve on the county’s Clean Water Commission, filling an unexpired term that ends Dec. 31, 2016.

The clean water advisory group makes recommendations to the board about services, policies and financing to meet federal and state requirements for water quality, including stormwater management.

Residents of the county’s unincorporated area are encouraged to apply. Analytical skills are desirable, along with experience and interest in environmental issues.

The commission holds six meetings annually in the sixth-floor training room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

Anyone interested in serving should submit a letter and resume to Jennifer Clark, Councilors Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, 98666-5000. Applications can be faxed to (360) 397-6058 or emailed to jennifer.clark (at) clark.wa (dot) gov

Application deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2015.
