October 22, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Doug Lasher, Clark County Treasurer, stated that second-half property taxes are due on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. “If you have not received your 2012 second-half tax statement or have lost it, you can visit our website at www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer or contact the Treasurer’s Office at (360) 397-2252 for a duplicate statement.” Taxpayers may also receive their 2012 tax statement electronically by signing up with our free-to-use third-party vendor at www.doxo.com/clarkcounty. Once enrolled, taxpayers can pay their property taxes by electronic check at no charge.
Taxpayers also have the option to pay property taxes online at the Treasurer’s website using MasterCard, VISA, or E-Check, but there is a convenience fee. Washington State statute requires that a convenience fee be charged. Payments may also be paid by phone at 1-877-778-4606; by E-check (fee of $1); by debit/credit card (2.39% fee); or by check or money order through the mail.
If mailing a tax payment, please mail it to the Clark County Treasurer, PO Box 9808, Vancouver, Washington 98666-8808. Tax payments must be postmarked by Wednesday, October 31, 2012, to avoid interest charges. Taxpayers are encouraged to use the return envelopes provided with their statements to mail their payments.
NOTICE: All former First Independent Bank branches, now Sterling Bank in Clark County, will no longer accept property tax payments.
