SEATTLE, WA – March 10, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Today Mayor Mike McGinn announced he is appointing Rick Hooper as the director for the Office of Housing. Hooper was previously serving as the interim director. Hooper’s appointment is subject to Council confirmation.
Hooper has served in the Office of Housing in a variety of capacities for 30 years, most recently as its interim director. He has also served as the director of policy and program development and as the manager of multi-family development.
“I am impressed with Rick’s dedication to Seattle residents and his management of funds from the voter approved Housing Levies,” said McGinn. “I look forward to working with him further in the future.”
