Vancouver, WA – September 8, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Reserved space is still available for Clark County’s Aging Readiness task force workshop next week, when the panel will seek public ideas and professional expertise about the community’s current situation and future needs regarding housing.
The workshop is the first of five the task force will host as members work on an Aging Readiness Plan to prepare Clark County for an aging boom and keep our community livable for residents of all ages.
Needs and expectations for housing change with age. Housing options in the community should reflect these evolving needs and expectations. A livable community provides a range of housing types at various levels of affordability. Please join in a discussion of the “age-friendliness” of housing choices in the county.
The housing workshop is scheduled for 3 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16. It will be at Clark College at Columbia Tech Center, 18700 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
